New features in VBulletin 3.6.0

To be honest, there isn't that much from an end user perspective. We were on version 3.5.4 so it wasn't much of an upgrade to 3.6.0.

It's vital to keep on top of these upgrades though from a security aspect. The latest versions have all the known security holes plugged.

I've added a new custom profile field for favorite speed bag brand and size. To edit, click the "User CP" link on the menu bar, then click "Edit Profile", scroll to the bottom of the page, update it and click "Save Changes".

And, also , the front page is gone... really wasn't much point in having it and it is just yet another item that has to be updated everytime I upgrade... so it will now redirect right to the forum index page, which is where all the action is anyways :)

The forum is awesome. As a speed bag fan, it's really rewarding to have a place for fellow fans to gather.

The speed bag has a following of many unique individuals with a diversity of backgrounds. Having a computer savy individual dedicated to creating a forum like Tim has on the internet finally allows most of us to get together and share a little.

I say most, because there are a few grizzled old geezers out there who have no computers, know nothing about the internet, and still communicate the old fashion way - by "letter" (not email) and telephone. But they also love the bag and train and teach others whenever possible.

But thanks to you Tim, you are a valued and important member of the speed bag community. :D
