I have that swivel on my indoor unit and I like it just fine. I started using that swivel a while back for indoors because it is quieter and my family complains less when I use it.
I had the chain link swivel like the one that you have and I hated it. It seemed like if I didn't hit it just right, it wouldn't work well.
I have a plastic ball swivel that I've had for a long time but I haven't used it for a while, but what I remember of it, it worked just fine.
That Everlast 6x9 bag is only slightly larger and heavier than the yellow Title bag that you have.

4200 by everlast is my favorite bag. i have three that i use but 70 % of my time is spent on thqat bag. I'm also teaching my roommate how to speedbag and i find that he learns alot more from me when we work on that bag. some people say the seams hurt there hands, i spend about an hour a day on average with out raps with out minimal pain.

What are you looking for? A smaller bag? I think the smallest they make is a 4 x 6" bag in their professional series.

I prefer their Professional bags over their High Performance bags because the seams are already flush. The High Performance bags have what appears to be a hard plastic seam that is hard on your hands until they get beat down. I also like being able to pick what color(s) I can get with the Professional series. The leather seems softer to me on the Professional series than it is on the High Performance bags.
I do have that exact same High Performance bag and I like it just fine, it's very fast and I frequently use it, but I do prefer the Professional series.

I don't have any problems linking from side to front and rear techniques with the pro swivel.
The smallest bag that is listed on Everlast's site is a 6X4.
Title has very inexpensive small bags on their site: http://store.titleboxing.com/classic-speed-bags.html
They are fast and very lightweight. I have one but I don't use it very much because it's so lightweight. I prefer a bag with some weight personally.

for the bag i think i will take this everlast bag: Everlast Professional Speed Bag (9 x 6) (i want to try a larger bag than the 8x5)
and for the swivel i hesitate between http://store.titleboxing.com/everlast-deluxe-pro-swivel.html
and http://store.titleboxing.com/dps-ez.html
its hard!!

I guess my question is: Are either of those style of swivels preferable to the plastic ball and hook ??? The only thing the plastic everlast ball and hook lacks is the audio feedback (i.e. the noise) ... in all other aspects it is equivalent to the metal one (Or so I've heard, I haven't used a plastic one yet.)

Those two swivels are identical. What I personally like about these swivels are they are quieter for indoor use. They work great for me.
