Name - what do we call this?

Guys - for purposes of engaging with corporate sponsors and getting some word of mouth buzz going, I think we should name this event sooner, rather than later.

I propose the following:

Speed Bag Annual Gathering 2010

Acronym: Speed B.A.G 2010

You'll notice there is no mention of speedbagforum. Because ultimately I want the following communities involved: speedbagforum, speedbagcentral, youtube, and offline.

I think this name would be more appealing to sponsors as well by avoiding any specific web site names.

Imagine: Speed B.A.G. 2010 sponsored by Everlast

Sounds better than Speedbagforum Gathering 2010 sponsored by Everlast

I know we're jumping way ahead here, but if we are going to do web advertising and building buzz, we will need to start in the new year, so it's not too soon to start the discussion.

Again - this is my PROPOSAL , I'm not trying to be a dictator by any means _ I want everyones thoughts and ideas. We're all doing this together!

I like that as well, but it's almost too much of an inside joke. If I'm your average boxer , mma , or fitness enthusiast, I wouldn't necessarily know what the event entailed. With Speed B.A.G 2010, there is no question.

I like it. I like anything with the word "Gathering (http://www.imdb.com/media/rm1079680768/tt0601421)", which refers to the immortals of Highlander fame. Silly reason, but I loved that series, as well as note a very uncanny resemblance between Adrian Paul (http://i178.photobucket.com/albums/w245/UNICORNTAMMY/MY%20TOP%2015/AdrianPaul-02.jpg) and Speedbagscissorhands (http://viewmorepics.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=viewImage&friendID=69476961&albumID=2388706&imageID=44960819#a=2388706&i=44960819). The resemblance is so strong I'm surprised spooferjohnson1 hasn't spoofed it yet.

He and I have had long phone conversations on this. He used to have a lot more pics online, close up profiles etc, and you are right. They could be twins, with the exception that Adam is ripped and much more pumped than Adrian. Put a serious stare on his face and a samauri sword in his hand and he's a dead ringer.

I'll also say that his bag skills have skyrocketed since those days. Amazing progress.
