boxing shoes

I am thinking about getting some boxing shoes. I am wondering if they will serve as an occasional treadmill shoe as well. I am looking for a shoe that will keep me light on my feet but at the same time be able to run in. Will they also stand up to kicking impact on a heavy bag? Is a boxing shoe what I should be looking at? Prefer the lo tops. Current Nike fitness shoes are not friendly to running nor ring movement. Looking for footwear to cover a bit of everything. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
