Hey, just wanted to let y'all know my local Sports Authority had the Everlast plastic ball hook swivel on clearance for $4.97 +tax. They don't have it on their website but I decided to swing by and they had a few. So if you're looking for one, check with your local store. Hope this helps.

I like the good ol' plastic ball swivels. I have them on my two platforms and they show absolutely no signs of wear in their ~3 years of use. So I won't fix what ain't broken. That is a good price though.

I have noticed both kinds of plastic swivels disappearing from shelves in every sporting good store around me, last week their were tons of them, this week there were none, same thing happened with the 4x6 xs speed bags, I'm starting to wonder if like the bags, maybe the swivels too have been discontinued from production!

I went to the SA in my area, and saw one. I bought it to mod it, and also bought the extended warranty they had (figuring i could just go get another one when they wear out. sure enough, when i went back for a new one they were out. I was told by the manager that they were out and were DISCONTINUED! I was not happy. Got a full refund, but it didnt get my bag up and running :( so now im on the hunt for a metal ball and a plastic housing....
