Welcome tryme, to the forum. It's really tough to tell what's happening with your platform because your video is so dark. Any way you can re-shoot the video and add some light?

You need to stand on something and look where the movement is coming from. The platform should be solid as a rock. If you need more help, take some pics and let us see.;)

will do and I will take some pictures so you can see it properly. Basically though the section which the board is attached to seems to wobble on the section that is attached to the wall, if that makes sense. It's not the board thats wobbly its the bar thats attached to the bit on the wall.

I agree. Hard to see because the video was so dark. If the wobble is coming from the vertical mounts on the wall, then you probably need to secure the unit to the wall with longer screws or more screws. Could also be that the unit is not attached to studs behind the wall so it wobbling on the sheetrock. If you can get some light on that area please show the wall connections also.

Here are some better pics and video, as I say it's not the frame against the wall that wobbles its the bit that connects to that, the height adjustment section.

The part that wobbles is the part that slides up and down on the main solid poll which is shown below.

In the picture below this is the part I am saying is fine and solid.

Okay, Now I would say you have the adjusting bolts going through the wrong way. Take them out, and put them in from the left rather than the right. Take the adjusting part up or down a little and tighten the bolts up against the centre pole instead of going right through. I might be wrong by saying you have the bolts going through the wrong way, could be the design it's self. You see the holes on the centre bar which you have the bolts going through? Well I would use them and put a pin through or a long bolt, so the adjustable part is actually resting on something solid. Do you get me? Your going to have to put some weight on top to reduce vibration.
Overall, the best advice I can give you is save your pennies and buy the Everlast Adjustable platform from SportsDirect. com for just £50, an absolute bargain!;)
Let us know if you don't understand what I'm going on about.:D;)

Maybe I have got them the wrong way but the things you screw in to take it up and down a lil has the nut on the left hand side so if I go from left to right it would have the nut on the wrong side if that makes sense? The nut is welded to the pole already so I asumed i had to go from right to left not left to right with the adjusting things.
Also I don't 100% understand what your saying.

Your making sense about the nut being on wrong side, but if you do it this way, you'll be tightening the bolt up against the centre bar. I'll try putting a video together, showing you what I mean. Back soon!:D

I tried making a video, it was going to take 2 hours 20 mins to upload, so forget that.
Here's some pictures, I hope this explains to you what I'm going on about.
#1 shows the bolt going into the nut and hitting the centre bar.
#2 Taken bolt out to show it against centre bar.
#3 is opposite side with a pin that goes into the centre bar. Makes adjusting height easier and safer too.
#4 Shows the holes in the centre bar for the pin. ( a bit dark, sorry)
#5 Platform with about 20 kg sand.
.............Solid as a rock!;)
Anyone notice the new additions to the speedbag corner?:p

I fixed the damn thing lol. I didn't put the spacers on the adjustable things as shown in the pic...

I also got a new swivel for it here it is...

Now for the sand idea, how much will I need, as in KG. I've already for about 10kg

Try the 10 kg. If you need more, just make sure it's safe to load up the platform.
The platform should sound solid without vibration, and the rebounds will be quicker.;)

yeah it is vibrating a lil atm so ill add the sand tomorrow. I'm not very good at it I can't go fast. i count 1,2,3 and (hitting on the 1 then counting 2, 3 then hitting 1 again then counting 2,3 etc etc, is that makes sense) why can't I go faster? When I try to go fast I end up hitting harder.

All in good time, it will come to you.;) It's all about control to begin with, the speed will naturally come where you won't have to keep counting, you'll be hitting it like in auto mode.
Take a look at this video. SpeedBagSkunk's (http://www.youtube.com/user/SpeedBagSkunk#p/u/6/puwdWFFZZsE) channel is a good place to start. Also, buy 'The Speed Bag Bible (http://www.speedbagcentral.com/ssp/speed_bag_bible)', it's a book and DVD by Alan Kahn (speedbag) the best piece of equipment you'll ever buy.

I think i'm gonna need to put tape around the loop of the speed bag as it keeps slipping on the swivel, is that common? The sand has helped ALOT btw. I can't go that fast on the basic LL RR will I get faster in time? Or can you only go fast with fist rolling?

Yeah that's common mate, a bit of tape around the loop will sort it. You will get faster in good time. Hows that bag doing anyway? I've hit a couple of BBE bags and found them slow. Make a video of you hitting the bag and let's see if your problem is with the bag.;)

lol ok mate will do tomorrow so I can get some decent lighting. Don't expect to much from me though lol. It does seem slow but it might just be me so i'll see what you think. I am also looking to purchase a pro box peanut ball as you lot seem to recommend those.

Looking forward to it mate, don't worry about your skill levels, we'll help you improve just from watching your video.....That's what it's all about!;)
Yeah, that Pro Box Extreme is a good ball for the price. I don't know how the hard loop will last, mine is wearing thin already.

When your ready to upgrade to a better bag, go for the Everlast 4x6. It's cheap at just £16.99 from Sports Direct. Here (http://www.sportsdirect.com/everlast-speed-bag-6inch-753140) It's an extra small bag therefore a little more tricky to keep under control. If you feel confident, then this is the bag you want.

Someone's probably already mentioned this, but I've been using a small zip tie -- works great, the tape doesn't gum up the loop, and it's two seconds to put it on or take it off...
And, you can snug it up as close to the swivel as you like.
Just thought I'd mention it...

Yeah! It's more recommended than the pro box, the Everlast bags take some beating. You won't go wrong with the Everlast bag. I'll post a picture starting a new post on my Pro Box bag and my concerns.;)
