Everlast bags have a very short and fat loop on them that will get thinner with use. I'm guessing you have an Everlast setup similar to this one, except your has a plastic swivel: http://www.dickssportinggoods.com/pr...earchId=694496

If so, it is indeed difficult to get the bag onto the hook. you can try using a set of needle nose pliers to squeeze the bag loop to help get it onto the hook. Once you use it a little, the loop will get worn to a slight extent allowing it to slip on and off a little easier. As a matter of fact, most members have problems with the bags flying off after a while and we have to use tape, velcro, or zip ties to hold the bags on to the hook.

I've had the same problems that you were describing and what I did was to keep filing a tiny bit off the hook edge until the bag fit snugly. Be careful not to take off too much or your hook will be ruined. I guess at the very worst you may have to always use tape, velcro, or zip ties as described in this thread: http://www.speedbagforum.com/forums/...read.php?t=150

And your question has come up on the forum before. You may find some useful information here also: http://www.speedbagforum.com/forums/showthread.php?t=39

If you have a chain link swivel like the one here: http://store.everlastboxing.com/top-...al-swivel.html you need to use needle nose pliers to slide the retaining link out of the way. If you're really stumped, bring it to a bicycle shop and have them show you how to remove the master link with needle nose pliers.
