Would you guys.... mainly Alan and Tim.... being long timers and very involved for a long time.... say that over the past 1-2 years, via the internet, predominantly youtube, the awareness has been increased, therefore attracting a larger number of people interested in advanced speed bagging than ever before in history?

BAGS UP!

I'll defer to Alan, as he's been at this long before the internet was popular. I imagine it's had some effect. Certainly it has facilitated quicker learning in quite a few people!

I would say you're all correct, I first saw Spins speedbaggin' article in Modern Drummer, which in turn turned me on to Alan, Skunk, Dee, and the forum, Tim, Metaldad, Scissorhands, Deano, Biff, etc. etc. all via utube, and the forum. And yes, Alans Book and Videos "definitely" gave me "all" the inspiration and info that I needed. Not to mention everyone's help on the forum (from helping me get my platform setup, to "any other snag" that I ran into while first learning). This is testimony of what a great and positive thing the internet can be! "LIVE TO BAG, BAG TO LIVE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
