My Speed Bags Were Stolen! No joke!

I am packing up to leave from the beach. I take the platform down, and then go to pick up the duffel bag that was underneath it that had all my speed bag stuff in it. It had been next to the van in the back back back of the garage all week. The only way into the garage is from the front. It is like 40 feet to the back. The van hasn't even been driven all week!
I walk back in there and notice the duffel with all my bags from home that I brought with , swivs, Speed bag 2010 2nd t shirt, new title atomic bags, and other various stuff from the event is gone! It rained yesterday so I think someone moved it to get it away from the rain as the bottom of the wall has a wood fence type thing about 2 feet high. But you can't get a bag through!
So I have looked everywhere and it ain't here!
I am so pissed! We are at a beach house and I didn't bag that much ... 5 minutes here and there.... not at night... not full on bashing loud volume...
And the balls it takes for someone to walk all the way back there and steal it!
It was a black duffel bag in the back of a very long garage! It was prob a kid that may have walked by and hear me baggin' and looked and saw the board... and then came back....
You couldn't even see anything in the bag until you looked in it!!
so .... I don't what to do..... this also happened last year in NYC when my bag on the truck was moved out by accident and left sitting there...some local snagged it...
So, maybe this stuff will be on ebay.. but how do you bust anyone that tries to sell a speed bag on ebay...
this sucks.... I can't believe someone did this ....
There was prob 3-400.00 worth of stuff in there... that I thought only bag freaks would care about...

Brian, sorry to hear; that sux hard. It sounds like you looked everywhere. Did you check with family members to see if they put it somewhere else??

Was anything else taken from the garage? It seems strange that only the duffle bag would be missing.

The police came over. The neighbor told me that bikes are always stolen from garages and kids just grab stuff sometimes...
But, good thing is.... if and when this bag turns up.... the police are going to call and notify me.... I have a feeling it will be found....who wants a duffel bag filled with speed bags!

That sucks... you know, people will steal anything. When I was in the military, if it wasn't locked up, someone would steal it... Socks, calling cards, sunscreen. "Locks keep people honest", is what our sergeant would tell us. Definitely uncool though, that your stuff was taken. :mad:

Sorry to hear about that! Man I remember when you told me about the other bag being stolen. I think we were in the truck at the Detroit Show (Aug). The probably didn't steal the speed bags cause they wanted speed bags, they stole because it's what they do. Thiefs will steal anything. Really sorry to hear about this. Such a low after such a high! ahhhhh!!

Keep the faith. Maybe they'll show up.

That is bullshit.!! Were they signed bags? I hope it was a kid, obviously one with big problems, that might use them. You might of just saved that kids life? Whoever stole it would have looked inside and seen speed bag stuff. Most people have no clue about it or how much it is valued at.
it was probably thrown in the dunes or bushes somewhere...
I am going to call weekly for months and see as the cops said a ton of stuff gets found and dropped of to them.....
It totally sucks,,, it was all my favorite bags I bought with me to the convention , plus some new ones from the convention, and swivs...
I figure it is 4-500.oo of stuff.....

Sorry about loosing your stuff, hope they didn't steal cameras with pictures and videos from SB 2010. I had over 2k worth of personal and work tools taken from my car once and felt bad for quite a while. Hopefully the police will be of more help to you than in my case. Keep baggin on!!

Sorry your stuff got stolen Brian! I know it sucks! My sons home was burglarized 3x in 13 months. The neighborhood really aint that bad, save this obvious group of young punk thugs (all under the age of 17). Anyway, it makes me furious as I know it does you also, that the police can't do anything about these bums. Why won't the police go after the parents and hold them accountable for their kids behavior? I can't even get the case investigator to return my calls! They know who the kids are. They arrested them and we hear nothing else! Each burglary was by different kids from the same circle of hoodlums!

It's probably the same in your case. Punk kids with no respect even for themselves, much-less anyone else. Sorry for you man!

Oh, by-the-way, my son is in the process of getting his Concealed Carry Permit (I already carry). Not out of anger, but because this has caused him to realize what a vulnerable position he is in without personal protection.

That just sucks....
I still have a few cool bags here at my house. I have a red and a black/gold everlast 6x4. I have a couple Titles and the Lonsdale and the Everlast red/blue melon ball. I was acutally surprised to see I still have like 15or more bags here!
I had nearly 40 bags before they were stolen!
Anyhow.. that's what happens when you get into something...
