The speed bag is truly international, and has fans all over the world. At this moment the U.S. Navy vessel USS Tortuga (LSD 146) (http://navysite.de/ships/lsd46.htm), is currently on duty in Japan. Led by their Commanding Officer, Commander Todd Lewis (http://www.tortuga.navy.mil/index.aspx?Page=ChainOfCommand&name=CO&FOIA=true&SH=1024&SW=1280), the proud sailors and Marines on board are actively using the speed bag for fitness and personal training.

Here's to the Captain and Crew of the USS Tortuga. Great Job and come home safe.

Thanks for supporting our troops Speedbag. They need all they can get for the job they do. I come from a long line of Navy men and even though I never joined you have to respect any serviceman or woman because they DID join and they're doing it for all of us. God bless them and safe voyage.

A couple of days ago I received a very inspirational email from Commander Todd Lewis himself, telling me about how much he and the men/woman on ship love training with the speed bag, and how he wanted to start a boxing program on board.
