Yes. I have heard that there may be a need to move the dates into JULY. Certainly don't want to put it on the 4th, (not really an issue to me, and fireworks over manhattan might be cool...) but it might effect room rates on a Holiday week end.

I am not touring with Whitesnake this year... they are taking the year off....releasing a live record and dvd from last year's tour...
So... I am setting up drum clinics and all that kind of stuff..
Basically... i have a more open year now and would def try to get to Speed B.A.G. III..... !!!!!

Hi guys- During the event last year we decided on weekend of June 22/23/24 to avoid Father's day (on June17). However, I think Donnie had Draft stuff going on then. And the weekend of 6/29, 6/30 might be too close to 4th of July.

How about Jul 13/14/15 ? Would that work ?

SpeedbagXhands did a video with heavyweight boxer kevin KINGPIN johnson and he's from NJ. if he doesn't have a fight scheduled for that date after his bout in late march, see if X-hands can give you guys the hook-up.

If you've got leads , let me know. I'm not sure if Scissor will attend this year or not, he was there for the SPEED BAG 2010, but didn't make SPEED BAG II.

Having been to the first and second speed bag gatherings, I feel like this gathering of speed bag forum members is a special, almost intimate event, where 3 days are set aside in the year for us to come together, in person, and "bond" if you will. For those who have attended, they know what I'm talking about. I am so looking forward to seeing the forum friends I met at the previous gatherings, and excited to meet the new members who will be attending for the first time this summer.

It's a pretty cool, laid-back event, with everybody just hanging out at Donnie's Gym. :cool::cool::cool: I consider every person attending SBIII to be the Main Event of the gathering. IMO... :cool:

Yes, date is set. It will be July 13, 14, & 15. July 12th will probably be setup and misc goofing around :)
