These are the four bags I hit regularly: (Measurements are mine, not mfg, and not including the height of the loop)

1. Jim Bradley 12" by 9"
2. Everlast 4200 8" by 7"
3. Jim Bradley 9" by 6.5"
4. Lonsdale Peanut 8.5" by 5.5"

The big Jim Bradley is a cannon. Like hitting a watermelon. Fun sometimes but I don't use it much anymore. The fat little Everlast is nice to hit. It's soft but kind of wobbly and it doesn't always have a consistent rebound. The red Jim Bradley was my favorite until I got the Peanut. The leather and craftsmanship on it is beautiful and it's soft on the hands. But it always felt kind of light to me. Now I'm into the Peanut. It was tricky for the first few minutes but now I love the speed of it. Always nice consistent rebounds, and goes as fast as I can hit it. I thought the narrowness might be a problem but now I like it better than the more pear-shaped bags. I've never tried to hit a smaller bag, but now I might go for one. Any suggestions?

Suggestions:

The Title classic 8x5 is a smaller and lighter than a normal 8x5, it's probably a tad bit smaller than your smallest bag, and it's cheap: http://store.titleboxing.com/classic-speed-bags.html

The Top Contender XS (7x4) is incredibly light and small ... and cheap

I've heard nothing but good about the Rival bags, but haven't used one hands on yet

They have also got a new stand alone website:

http://www.leisuresportsuk.co.uk/

I highly recommend both their product and their service. BTW, the Rival I ordered is the 6" by 4".

w00t, the Rival 6 x 4 is a tiny little guy and quite the challenge.

Here's a recent clip of having a go on mine:
