Is China known for lower quality bags? I found a sticker on two of my speed bags that said, Made in China. These bags didn't bounce to well to begin with, but oddly right after I saw the sticker, they bounced even less.

Most bags are made there these days. Guess you get what the middlemen pay them to do. That 6x4 yellow and black bag many of us liked was seen on a website for around $6 each in quantities of 5000. My memory of the details might be a bit off, but it was somewhere in that ballpark. At that price they had to find some low wage cows to give up their hides, sure wasn't great leather, and that's no bull.

Faux leather, would make a nice wall hanger, but forget about actually using it.

There are some high quality faux leather bags available these days. Although I prefer real leather, I prefer it because of tradition, not function. That said, this bag doesn't look all that impressive, not sure if it's really anything special.
