Anybody going to the Ringside World Championships (http://worldchampionships.ringside.com/), july 31 - Aug 4?

Two sessions (11am and 6pm) of Six Rings all fighting. Non-stop boxing action.

Sounds like a great event. I've thought about attending in the past when I was training a couple of young friends here in El Ghetto. I think the catch was you had to sign up a couple months in advance. Are you going Alan? I'd like to take Daniel when he's a little older so he can get comfortable in that environment...

I may go and watch. There is a good friend of mine fighting in the masters division. This guy can barely walk. He fought several low level pro fights in his youth and finally quit riding bulls at 48. I'd kind of like to be there to support him, but it's a bad time of the summer for me to leave. I went to a Ringside Tournament in 1998 and did a speed bag seminar for the coaches. It's where I met Kenny Weldon (http://www.speedbagcentral.com/ssp/other_people), (* scroll down page to 3rd row of pictures) and I saw the competitions. It was great fun with a lot of good people.

Thats A good Idea to bring Your son when he gets older because it really gives you the feel and how its like. Thats the day before my fight!
