Interesting that floor bagging and vertical bagging were being promoted to youth as late as 1954. From the November 29th issue of Life magazine from that year. Units like these turn up for sale occasionally.

These were being sold in stores like G.C. Murphy's, S.S. Kresge's, W.W. Wolworth's up until the mid 1960's along with the local area department stores.
