I think he means that someone so talents gets shot in a seemly random act of violence....

similar to a war veteran that survives the worst the world has to offer - just to get shot in a gang land fight in the USA...

What do you Mean?

A great man with a bright future dies before his time in a senseless act of violence. It is a great loss to humanity, a life wasted for no reason.

think of the lives he could have changed. The inspiration he could have brought to just one kid trying to be better than he is, never mind being the icon for a country. It is a waste because, in my opinion, this world - at least the world that he affected - would have been much better with him living - than without him.

can't say that about everybody.
