There was a thread a while back about this situp - speed bag (http://www.nhbfighter.com/mercantila-shopping/blackline-ab-jab-punching-bag-28485.html) equipment. I'm not sure if anyone purchased one. It's a cute idea, and definitely a novel method to join some speed bag punching with situps.

SpeedBagSkunk made his own from an incline bench and one of those everlast desktop mounted speed bags... I'm not sure if he still uses it but I think he said it was one hell of an ab workout.

To be honest, the "ab jab" is a lot more like using a reflex bag (http://store.titleboxing.com/title-professional-reflex-bag2.html) than a speed bag.

You can do some very similiar punching combinations on this bag, Front Double Punching, Front Fist Rolling etc. And it does have a rhythmic sync to the spring movement.

You know, as I look at that device, I wonder if anyone has ever tried using a swiss ball? How would that work? You would definitely need something to keep your feet in place. That could be quite interesting if anyone could do it.

Enlighten me on how a swiss ball would be used with the speed bag. Perhaps sitting on it for stomach stabilization and balance while punching?.

this site says there are 11 exercises with a swiss ball (http://www.jumpusa.com/swissexercises2.html). They all look pretty hard to imagine with a speed bag.
