Your right, i took a heat gun to it and it does seem like ordinary paint, So i'll head to the hardware store and see what i can find for paint removal...

My guess would be 50's or 60's i feel the double end bag is older, i was surprised how crazy thick the leather is, it's much thicker than the red 4220...
