I used super-glue on the thread!! i have found that the swivel gets better the more i use it!!

Glad it arrived OK!! if you can get it tight enough you may not need loctite, i got silicone grease from Maplins it works well on plastic but i would think any light grease will do.
yes i have been playing around on windows movie maker only found i had it by chance!! but its really good. enjoy the swivel this weekend and happy baggin!!

I have the door knob put into the swivel base - fits great. Need help getting sand off my platform so will have my first try out at the weekend. Will let you know what it's like. Should I definitely glue it in? And what is silicone grease? d'oh!

I was also going to say, you did a good job on the video you did for the door knob, did you edit that in Windows Movie Maker? Neat!
WMM won't import my camera files so trying another bit of software but struggling. Nice to be able to edit clips so I'm perservering!
