Hi mate! the snow has gone here in Devon! they recon rain for the next few days, glad you like the swivel! don't worry too much about speed yet just practice technique and the speed will surely follow, have you got a copy of the speedbag bible? it has all the information you could ever need! i got mine from Amazon UK.

hi mate, got that swivel from sugar rays and a better deal on a new frame as it happens. my other board is peeling on the back siurface and only had it since christmas so im returning it. the rebound arc is much smaller its much smoother and faster, only trouble is i cant keep up with it yet how's the snow treating you in your neck of the woods, its almost gone here by the sea.

Mate they are the cheap and nasty of the swivel world!! the one i have is a title deluxe pro! i got it from Title USA the shipping was more than the swivel, i have the gold one from Sugar rays ready for my indoor platform when i think of somewhere to put it without getting grief from the wife, the swivel the US guys seem to like is a Watkins ball hook, only available from the US once again, if you check out Speedbagsisorhands vids he uses one like the golden swivel!!! and he smokes it.

i did see the swivel, looked great.my missus just rolled her eyes at me as was drooling over its sparkly goldeness. it was surprisingly inexpensive.
i boxed & then thai boxed from about 17 to 24,used to do taekwondo and stuff like that when i was a kid.have had numerous accidents over a relatively short existence, which have kept me from training. all involving motorbikes & cars & hotdog vans. then 5 years plastering messed me right up. i couldve kept training but didnt find a good physio for years, soon as i was on the right track i have been feeling better & better, still ache like crazy every morning but im wanting to try my hand at judo, apparantley redcar of all places has a judo club which was ranked #1 in 2006-2008.it just finding the time to do it,got so many animals to think of and im spending ages out on my bag, i havent touched my regular bag or weights since i got it.just looking at your pic there and the swivel in it, is that the same type as the one at sugar rays?

Hi Ryan! we did something in the army...i wouldn't call it boxing though more like a free for all!! ha ha, went to a club in London for a while many years ago but never stuck with it, i just use the heavy bag and speed bag now and weights just to stay in shape!! what about you? do you still box? did you see the link i posted for you to Sugar rays site with a better swivel?

hi fingers,i didnt have a rucksack, but did have half a 25kg bag of sand. cant beleive the diffference much better sound and rebound. unfortunately im sending my set up back for a refund so might be without it for a while. the white veneer on the boerd is coming away from the wood, on the backside so i wasnt bothered but if it does it other the other i dont want any jaggered edges damaging the ball.plus the swivel problem, im not happy that this is brand new. can we get that ball hook swivel thing from another country, it seems to be the most talked about?
so did you box in the army then?or is the speed bagging a hobby?

Hey Ryan! welcome to the world of speed bag!! the bag on top of my drum is my old army rucksack filled with rags! some people use sand! it helps reduce vibration and give a better more solid rebound, check out my vids on U tube you should see what i mean, hope this helps. Fingers
