This morning was my first day back to surfing since my knee started giving me problems (about a year ago) and about 7 months post knee replacement surgery. About 10 days after the surgery I got back to the bag and after about a month was back into my bag routine of an hour, maybe less. Consistently working the bag has kept my shoulders and wind in tip top paddling condition enabling me to stay in the water for nearly 3 hours. I'm a happy guy..God Bless the Bag..If this belongs in the "Off Topic" section I apologize in advance.

Well here is my first vid for you to check out - in it you'll see my finished custom platform and also the custom swivel I made in action.

I've been practising now for about 4 weeks total - first two weeks just learning how to hit the bag and then the last two weeks started learning some of the techniques from watching videos etc... I'm never one for hiding my newbieness and have left in all mistakes for critique! ;)

Thanks to Alan (true gent'!) I have two Title bags coming soon and I'm really stoked to try them out - the bag in the video is a Lonsdale authentic peanut 9x6 and I'm really liking it although Lonsdale print that it should be inflated to about 10 PSI -- I find that between 4 and 5 is great for control.

The other Lonsdale bag is a red black Pro 10x7 for the other family members and for me when I just want to hit the bag doing nothing fancy but maintaining upper muscle mass and burning some calories :)

Well, it's been exactly 3 months since introducing the Deville ball-hook swivel here on the forum. I am happy to say that it is becoming known throughout the world, which is very exciting and encouraging. :) I have sent swivels throughout the United States as well as the UK, Sweden, Honduras... and today I received an order for 2 swivels to be shipped to Poland!!

I'd like to thank all who have ordered the Deville swivel and I appreciate all the positive feedback we have received. I hope it is getting lots of use.

One issue with the swivel that we have been trying to eliminate is the bag will flying off the S-hook (usually caused by a mis-hit). We are working towards eliminating this on the Deville. I think I have found something that will take care of this problem and will update my progress on this shortly.

For anyone who is interested in purchasing a swivel, please contact me here on the forum through the Private Messaging (MsDeville). Or, you can email me at:

DevilleSwivels@gmail.com

I promise to reply asap with pricing and shipping information. Thanks again, everyone! And BAG ON!!!! <)BL<)B<)Y
<)Y<)Y<)Y

Just bought a Rival speed bag (has "RSPD 107" printed on it). On the good side, it holds air forever, doesn't leak a drop. On the bad side, it's slightly out of round. Also, it feels very thin and light, almost like I am punching a balloon.

Are there any brands / models of speed bags that have some weight to them? I want to feel like I am punching something more substantial.
