Hi Dee,

I got sidelined by a HUGE case of sciattica and the continued job search, in addition to other things. The bagging has suffered, but things could be worse.....I think LOL!

How have you and trainer Raul been? I popped on today after hearing about the shooting at Fedex on the southside. Last I heard, Metaldad worked for Fedex and lives on the southside so I wanted to see if he was caught in the middle of it and if he was OK. No one was hurt, but it had to be scary.

I'm still catching up on all the posts and vids. How is that zip tie working out? any wear on the bag loop?

Sorry about that, CS. I got your earlier reply asking about my son's specialty, but I keep forgetting to ask him... I just texted him (he's in NYC this weekend with his girlfriend)... He says "Library & info science... no specialization yet...

I recently read one of your postings (now I can't find it!) where you mentioned your "library hands" or something like that...
Okay, so now I'm curious. Are you indeed a librarian? The reason I ask is that my oldest son (he's 31) is a librarian at the University of Washington (his alma mater) and he's in the midst of getting his Masters in Library Science, or whatever they call it... My family always turns to him for answers to questions of all kinds, but mostly questions relating to grammar – he's been described as a Grammar Nazi.
Anyway, just wondering...
BTW... I always enjoy reading what you have to say here on the board... too bad you were unable to make it to SB 2010 – would have loved to meet you in person. Maybe next year? (I don't think the St. Louis Gathering is going to happen for me, it might be a little too far to drive from Seattle...). Besides, I might have to save my pennies for next year's annual Convention...
