How ya doin? Yeah, all's cool. Just put up another clip. I've been on the road a bit here and there. Managed to get a bag and board set up in the equipment truck. It makes touring all the more fun! Yeah! BAG ON! Good to hear you are getting better. You should post a clip. I think it's great to see what everyone is doing. Speed bagging is kind of a lone, underground sort of thing so it's cool when we all check each other's skills out! The Baggist just put some killer clips up. He's awesome. And Skunk put some new ones up that are insane! Alan Kahn threw some punch drumming ones up that rule!

Easiest way is to upload it to Youtube. You can then embed it with the [youtube] tag

    Hey Curtis...
Yes, I did play with Schenker. I put a clip up in the vids section of the forum. You can see 2 vids on youtube fromthe Show I did with him. The songs are "On and On" and "Lights Out". He asked me to tour but I can't at the moment. I currently play and have for 8 years with Billy Idol. We are writing right now. But in a month I am going on tour throughout the year with Foreigner. We may be up near you this year. Let me know adn I'll get ya into a show.....

Hey Cad 101, I uploaded that picture as your "Avatar" which should show when you join a group , etc. It was really big, like 3MB so I resized it to be smaller, then it worked fine. Hope that helps!

    (contd)...PART TWO....
I have drummer friends that never got into advanced stuff but can play straight rock. When I show them things to work on or habits to break, some of them try to get into it all with too much speed. Drums and speed bagging are very similar. Since I was a kid learning drums, it was all about patience and a love of what you are doing, not the end result. Being in the now makes things fun. It's that simple.
Where do you live. I'm sure we can figure out a time to get some bagging in.
    BAG ON!

    PART ONE...
Hey Cad. I live in Santa Clarita, 25 minutes north of Hollywood...
Thanks for the compliments. I started on the generic Everlast Gyro 7x10 or 8x11. I can never remember the sizes of the bags I have. I think it's good to start bigger and get smooth then go smaller to keep to work some speed and accuracy.
You don't have to start over, you just need to accept that the things you do better are the things you've been doing for a long time. The new stuff should be looked at as new skill, not just another way to hit the bag. All the greats say to forget speed and get the flow going. I am still new but I am focused when I dig something. ...BAG ON

Go to User CP and click on "contacts and friends". Then type my name in the box to add a friend and I think it goes to me. I have to accept and that's it....
