    Swivel issue plus photo

    Hey all,

I'm new to the forum and bagging. I bought my first bag from Ralph, a Ringside 10 x 7. My gym put up a new bag that is awful, after the last one split, so I figured getting my own was the way to go. However, the swivel is driving me nuts, it's a U-bolt with a pin. The rebounds can go off easily, so building up a consistent flow is more difficult than it should be.

I took a look at the swivel info. on this site and will try the duct tape around the bag loop trick to see if it helps, as well as buying my own ubolt and pin so that I can just go to the gym and hook it up, instead of having to use theirs.

I am posting a pic of the U-bolt and pin in case someone has advice. Thank you!

    Hi Dev30.

If you've got a great bag from Ralph you need to let it hang on a decent swivel, and that U-bolt isn't it.

There are several types of U-bolts and I think you have the worst. that long thick swivel and fat U is simply aweful. I doubt that taping it to the bar will make much of a difference. I suggest you PM ms Deville here on the forum and get the Deville Ballhook. It will feel different for a few days, but over time you will get the best and truest rebounds.

    Good luck
