    Hello!

    Hi All,

Just thought I'd introduce myself. My name is Chris and I live in the UK (Newcastle upon Tyne). I'm kind of new to speed bags. I had one when I was 15 or so and I loved it until it broke, hitting it too hard combined with it being cheap and nasty.

Some 24 years later I'm ready to jump back into it as part of my fitness regime. I must admit I am truly astounded by some of the things you guys are doing with speed bags. I was planning on using it in the classic boxing tradition but I have had my eyes opened to the possibilities 😉

So anyway I'm looking to build a freestanding platform or cage out of wood to hang my platform once we move into the new house. Once I get set up I'll post some picks and maybe one day I'll look like a badass on the bag. 😈

    Chris
