Oh my looks like a cleto with a shorter possibly softer loop. I have 1 cleto and it's really nice on the hands but the loop is so stiff that it doesn't always agree with a ball hook.

Interesting. What do you think is happening, specifically?

First thing I thought was Cleto and or moderate banana. Good looking bag though.

I think a couple things may be going on: 1 it is losing its grip on the s hook due to the ridgidness perhaps and 2 maybe the heavy duty loop has the bag top heavy? I always hoped it would break in but despite alot of oil, conditioner, and working it over it hasn't improved

Well crap I have to retract my previous statements on my cleto. I gave it another go for a good session to see how she performs now as it had a been a while since I gave it an honest attempt. At first I was having the same old trouble and then I had a breakthrough when I tried the reverse fist roll. I realized the problem was more along the lines of striking location and adjusted my aim higher and bingo! Hitting too low on this banana style made it slip after few strikes and seem top heavy. So in conclusion I take it all back, it was me all along!
