How could I forget the basement in Atlanta? I think your time there was one of my best weeks in the 6 years that I lived there! I still remember standing dazed, stunned, mouth agape, thrilled, seeing you hit the bag on my set-up. Every air molecule in that dank old basement felt electrified. It was amazing. Then we pulled out Jock Jams, and things went from amazing to mind-blowing. LOL, great memories!

Hoping to make it to X. I neither look nor feel like that young lady in the photos, but I do love those gatherings, and the bag.

I didn't want to hijack mickey woo's thread, so I'm posting this here. My drum was made like an epoxy resin river table, with resin going all around the wood and giving the drum its structural strength. The red lava goes all the way thru and top to bottom.

Wow that looks great, how much epoxy resin did you use roughly, I've seen some awesome tables made this way too with an amazing blue that really pops out

No idea. I contracted an artist on Etsy who does epoxy resin river tables. I just gave him my specs, 26" diameter, 2" thick, unfinished top. Turned out fantastic. @RefinedNatureSantaFe

The extra inch was all I needed to fit even my largest bags. The 30" drums that are the common upgrade from 24" are a bit overkill. I assume that is because speed bag platform manufacturers get their drums from places that also supply table manufacturers.
