Hmm, looks like a faux leather bag, assembly looks fair.

      I have used this bag.

These speed bags are designer works of art.
RIVAL paid professional designers a lot of money to be what they are.
Best design of any speed bag.
Will outlast all you will give it, in your lifetime.
Best construction, with total precision. Parallel, and symmetrical.
Not one stitch out of place. Top gun quality build.
Bladders hold air for very long periods.
      Unbelievable value for the price.

RIVAL knows this bag is awesome, they are proud of it.
They are proud of all their equipment. Even TITLE sells RIVAL.

I own the 6X9 as well as the 7X10. Next will be the 5X8.
I strongly recommend anything with RIVAL on it.
Don't buy your speed bag from the same place you buy your tackle box.

Funny. I typically hold faux leather in low regard. That being said, I purchased a couple of the Title Platinum series heavy bags a few years bag for use in an industrial setting. (My understanding that they are Balazs bags that have been private labelled.) Couldn't be happier with the product and they have far outlived, in every way, their predecessors, both of which were made of leather. Maybe time for a rethink on materials.

If they have come up with a material that exceeds what a lot of the leather being used for speed bags of late, great, I'm all for it. It's just that I've not been impressed with the vinyl impregnated cloth that has been used in the past.

True that. Of course, the heavy bag need not "bounce."

What old Rival bag are you comparing?
                  What's fast?
                  Or, how fast is fast??
                  What size?
The link you provided posts the 5X8.

It's yellow. Not blue, or red.
                  That's all I know about the 5X8.

I can tell you about the 6X9 and 7X10.
                  I use 5.8 psi. = 0.4 bar.

I have the 5X8 leather one. I want to get the one on the link in this post. It is the new bag on the Title website for Rival speed bag. Like the two speed bags in the middle of Nikki Knuckles picture to this post. Is it a fast bag like the old Rival leather speed bags?

I just got a Rival Next Generation 8x5 and found that the very small loop which has a larger opening on the lacing side of the bag resulted in erratic bounces. It looks like it would need to be lubed up pretty significantly to try to offset this. I am considering returning it. Any advice?
