    Everlast Ball Hook Swivel - How old ???

    Hello !!!
    Found this nice swivel on e-bay ..... How old is it ????

    I'd say at least 25 to thirty years old.

      I would agree with Dutchman. Your swivel has that nice offset "S" hook and if memory serves that is from before the mid to late 70's. When I got back into serious bagging in the mid 1980's all the everlast "S" hooks (still have a few) were a straight "S", not the offset style. I have a couple like that also but I got them off ebay sales a few years ago. I really like the Offset S as it makes it easier to accomodate the thick loops of modern bags. It also has the ball sunk right up next to the housing so very little shank is showing.

      I couldn't find it on ebay...

        its not on e-bay anymore . i bought it 2 weeks ago
        it was very dirty .i cleaned it and it looks prety now . it seems like that its much better material (heavy) like the other swivel i got .
        thank you guys for the informations !!!

        p.s.hope i can post pictures of my platform soon ,still working on it : sunday i gonna weld it,hope next week i can bring it to the powder coater

                by the looks of the flange around the housing it has seen a few workouts. Yes, the one I have just like it is noticeable heavier than the later models. I think the went to a cheaper, lighter grade steel than these are.
