    Spam Alert!!

I've just noticed that in one my posts as well as others, that some words are being highlighted and linked to some other site selling something. That's a new one, not sure how to stop it. I went back into my post and deleted the word and it went away, at least for now. Just went back and checked, it's back, deleting it didn't work. It's in the "play it again" threads on the Benlee swivel. It's showing up all over the place, is that something being done on purpose by the forum??

I don't see anything unusual in your post. What word(s) is/are it?

Well, I wonder if it's on my computer only?? Doesn't anyone see highlighted "training" right above after it says Speed bag discussion speed bag technique, training and equipment. ?? I went back and deleted the whole sentence in my post, so maybe that got rid of it.

Here's a line from Dutchmans last post and the word confirm is highlighted and linked.

Does anyone see it in this post, because it shows up on mine.

Negative. Your computer may be a victim of malware. Can't say for sure.

Could be a spambot, as well.

          That is my link btw.

EDIT: upon further review, it shouldn't be a spambot, if it is only affecting your posts. This is weird. I haven't heard of this before.

Might be you have been infested with some malware. There are programs that will take care of that.

Well crapola. I have it too. I guess I didn't think about it because I see it on other sites. I run Spybot and it usually takes care of malware. I'll run a scan and see if I pick up anything. It looks like what I have is Coupondropdown. I found a site to clean it. I will try it later. Here is the site incase you have the same: http://malwaretips.com/blogs/remove-...pdown-coupons/

So I updated Spybot detection files and ran a scan. I did find and remove one adware, but that does not seem to have fixed the problem. It appears that I have some kind of coupon adware stuck. Sometimes you have to hit it with multiple malware products to get one of these. I'll install something else and try again.

I ran Malwarebytes and it didn't remove it either. Sounds like we have the same bug.

Some of those are hard to get rid of.

Okay, I found it. Go to your control panel and open up Programs to remove. Scroll down to "Solid Savings" and remove it. It takes it away.
thanks for every ones input and help.

Same thing to me a couple weeks ago. Malwarebytes found it...free and does not take over your system
