I hope you get it Vent.
Someone from the forum should have that.
Someone that will put it to good use.

    Good Luck

If this is a late model version (which it appears to be from the packaging) beware! Those are the ones that the plating flakes off and heads straight for your eyes! If you are looking for an Everlast ballhook try to get one from no later than the late 1980's-early 1990's to be safe.

Not me. I never placed a bid. It might be worth $20 or so, but for that price now ($56) I'd go with the Deville ballhook. You will be supporting an awesome forum member as well as getting a superior ballhook swivel.

Yeah that price is getting a BIT out of hand now.. Creeping up on 60 Dollhairs.
I will be interested in seeing how much the final price is.

The Deville A-51 does seem like a cool swiv for sure.

You know what i was thinking... If there are any Forum members that are living in an apartment, and have to keep the NOISE level down. They should get the A-51 Swivel, and Throw a Bladder Bag on it. This combo will cut the noise level down to next to nothing. Ms. D's swivel cuts tons of swivel noise out, and the Bladder Bag doesn't make that" loudish" sound leather bags do slapping the board. The bag is very light, and takes a Very Light Touch. it does make a slight sound, but it can't really be heard if you aren't in the same room as the bag.

Just a thought for anyone who lives in an apartment, and wants to bag at night, or has neighbors that are less than tolerant about noise at certain times of day, night, or at all.

Hey AK... you mention something about a ball hook swiv that may or may not be in the works. would that be produced by a company that starts with a T?

no way, the powermill is 100% metal. the housing feels heavy and rugged. it is the complete opposite of an everlast plastic swivel

Looks are deceiving. I have made several Plastic housing / metal ball swivels.

Other than looks there is no comparison. The powermill is a solid steel housing with a much higher quality steel ball inside. The plastic housing will crack over time and the powermill will not.

As JUXT said. there is no comparison.

I was bidding on it... however, it is too much now. As Tim said, Deville or Powermill will be more valuable.
