I like combos which are symmetrical on either side of the body and all you do is alternate the lead fist. They are easy to practice since they just go round and round.

Yep that's it. I noticed that video started with the left fist and then the right. I would personally do every combination I could from the Basic Rhythm, then go to the combo with each arm leading, then back to Basic. That was how I practiced. Years ago, that is.

That's a great tip actually. I bet it helps to prevent 'handedness' which i like to try to avoid..

Exactly why I always did it that way. Equality rules on the speed bag.

I have copied the amazing Ataraxis for this combo. It's just a single fist pass through and a side triple elbow strike but I kinda like it..
New combo from yesterday. Very similar to the one in the video above and just as much fun.

Love that shadow RSP coming under the raised Elbow. Pretty unique how a shadow or phantom punch (FCP, FSP, RSP or SSP) like that can originate from underneath or end up under the shadow of the upraised arm.

New Combo for today. It is the 9 Punch combo but hit using double bumps for each punch.
                  So instead of (FDP)'(SSP)'(RDP)'(SSP)'(RDP)'(SSP)
                  it goes (FCP)'(FDP)'(FCP)'(SSP)'(SSP)'(RSP)'(RDP)'(RSP)'(S SP)'(SSP)'RSP)'(RDP)'(RSP)' (SSP)'(SSP)
It is a real fist twister!

I thought it would be cool to do it alternating between the 9punch, and the double bump version of the 9punch

I came up with the idea of trying to make it continuous so it could go round and round

And that's all I had time for today, but I will keep baggin on.

Here's a better demo of that second one. I left my favourite bag out in the rain last night so today it's wet and heavy. This FS one will do but only just. I don't like it as much, it feels like it has sides and corners, my Title is perfect and round..

                      amazing.

I never thought of that when I wrote the original.

Cheers for the tip, I never considered it might break in over time. I am a bit impatient and sometimes just want things now. Maybe if I have a go at thrashing this thing to bits it will actually only get better to hit then. That's good news.

Hitting the 9 punch using three rebounds between punches. I like this one because you get to smack it more than you do on the one rebound.
