If you watch boxing you know that a high percentage of fighters do not know how to correctly evade a jab or defend from it. This one punch sets all of your other punches up effectively. One would think since a lot of people know this that fighters would surely get hit with this punch a lot less, WRONG... When thrown correctly, the jab can be extremly hard to evade if your sense of distance from your opponent is bad.
Key 1 to becoming a better boxer is learning to throw and evade the jab properly. This technique alone will make you more effective then the majority of fighters out there who just bore their way into the striking distance of their opponents.
