No sound for the timer

    Problem No sound for the timer

    Hi there

    i am probably gunna look pretty silly here but..........

    I can't get any sound from the timer (yes i do have the audio on on my pc, but no sound form the buzzer)



    BTW this timer is great and you are a legend for sharing it for free, God bless you brother.

    Glad to hear you like it, here's a few questions.

    Which Operating system and browser are you using ? For example, Windows XP and IE ? Which version of web browser?

    Also are you using the online version http://www.speedbagforum.com/timer or the downloadable desktop version http://www.speedbagforum.com/timer.zip ?

    Do other sounds in the web browser generally work?

      i run Vista, firfox V3

      and sounds appear to me working elswhwere

      i will try the downloadable one in the meantime thanks.

        I tried the downloads one and unfortunatly it doesnt work either.

        i did notice though that there is a message at the top of the screen that says "additional plugins are required to display all the medai on this page"

        whaen i click the icon "install missing plugins" nothing happens.

        I wonder if my Nortons AV is stopping it from installing

          got it to work ok with Intenet explorer, so i just use that.

            Yes, I was gonna suggest that, to try it in IE.

            I'm not sure why it didn't work in FireFox. At this time, I don't have Vista so it's hard for me to guess what might have been wrong.

            I do intend to test with Windows 7 shortly though.\
