    My heavy-bag ripped

I'm fairly new to this game so I was wondering if there's anything I can do to make it usable again. I want to sew it up but I don't know if it would hold up and how long but if there's any alternatives out there, I'm willing to try. I know eventually I'm going to have to buy a new one and I'm working on that.

60 lb. Everlast bag. 2 yrs old.

I have a ringside bag made from "nevatear" or something like that... after 5 years it's completely wrapped in duct tape, that's probably your best bet.

        Hey lifer

Man that looks like a mortal wound. Real close to where the chain connects and a major weight support area. There will be a lot of stress on the top part of that rip as it is right under the chain.

Duct tape may or may not hold very long. You might consider a "bag cover" such as this neoprene gel sleeve, but I doubt it will help relieve the weight off the top rip.

Start saving for a new bag, like one of the HB bags that Tim recommended.

Thanks for the advice guys, will try the duct tape, and will buy another one. The Title heavy bag looks great.
