Why yes... yes it is....the kilt just makes things easier all around, but the boots are tough to get into the stirrups.

It would seem appropriate that since we rough up our hands hitting a bag, that we should use this to help heal them. It really is pretty good stuff.

Actually that is why I personally preferred bare handed. Every seam on a glove has the potential to shift and find it's way to a "hitting area".

I had a couple of pairs of custom designed leather gloves, then neopreme gloves, made for me by "hitman" company back in 1995-96. they made tons of training gloves at their florida factory and had me spend some time with their 'glove guy' who took a measurement of my hands to make the model. You can see the leather version faintly on my hands in the this speed bag demonstration at the national sporting goods show in chicago, july 1995. (look down page to see pic)

These were ingeniously designed with NO seem on the outside of the hand. All seams were on the palm side of the gloves with vertical seams running down the index and ring finger. They made me about three pairs of these, and a few total neopreme versions. the main problem with the leather version was the nasty discoloration of my hands when I took them off. I guess the leather dye's were cheap or something but they turned blue with a nasty odor, so I was told ( I personally have no sense of determinable smell, so any odors, good or bad, are lost on me. ....Saved my life a few times )

Here is a picture of the left hand glove in that picture. Notice the leather on the sides of the hand wraps around to the front and connects to a webbing in the palm area.
