One of the newer features of VBulletin is Social Groups
Anyone can create a social group. A group can have discussions and photos/albums associated with it.
Your social group affiliations will also show in your profile page (lower right hand corner), which I think is a cool way to tell your fellow forum members about your likes, dislikes, and preferences.

You can also get the to the groups list via the "Community" menu option, just click on Community then Social Groups.
