The title is completely a joke, I hope all understand! This is my first punch drumming video and I do think it came out very well. Although when I finish I watch Alans videos and realize I will always have room for improvement. Whats that saying?...The more you know the more you realize you don't know? Besides the fact I wouldn't even be punch drumming if it weren't for Alan spending an extremely gracious amount of time with me at SpeedBag II. Thank You! Anyway... here ya go. Excellent Song for punch drumming

I answered this post here:
Awesome video!
++++++++++++++++++++++++
By the way, I showed my wife the video's I took at SB-II and she was amazed at the level of skill in this new age of speed bagging. She looked at me and said "boy, you're in a lot of trouble...". Ha! don't I know it..
However, the point is, she saw video's of YOU (SpeedBagAtaraxis) I took and others I showed her online, and says you look exactly like me hitting 15-20 years ago. She said you stand straight up with little movement except your arms straight up parallel, ripping the bag. She said your smooth and your hands just flow through the bag like butter with no movement to distract from the bag and sound.
just so you know....Last edited by Speedbag; 07-23-2011, 10:10 PM.Speed Bag

Yes indeed, it turned out QUITE WELL, Matthew! Beautiful!
You captured the absolute essense of this Jesse Cook song. Such soul – in Jesse’s composition as well as in your interpretation of it. Your punching is impeccable, and looks so effortless as you execute each punch, Matthew. Truly inspiring.
I'm wondering if you play other instruments? Are you a drummer?
Yes, I most certainly see the "Alan influence" in your punching. The "Father of punch-drumming" must be very proud. ;-)Last edited by MsDeville; 07-30-2011, 11:25 PM.sigpic Contact me anytime for information about Deville Swivels Email: DevilleSwivels@gmail.com

Thank You!
Thanks all on this page. Your support is tremendous to me in improving as well as just knowing they're are good hearted and supportive souls left on the planet. Actually Alan eh ehm...that was a shadow punch followed by a quad elbow (elbow, fist, fist, elbow).. haha but no seriously someone of your caliber and vast knowledge of the speedbag commenting on my video is 100% like a dream coming true from when I started. Your "Speedbag History" was the first video I ever saw and I remember saying "I'm going to do that". To Msdeville, I used to be a rhythm guitarist for about 6 or 7 years and just recently have been doing African drum..but maybe I attribute my rhythm to my Latino roots haha. Thanks again to everyone umm, Alan King Kong Kahn!, Novaspeedbagger!, Msdeville!, Parandy!, Metaldad (I see those Dragonball Z posters, been a fan for as long as I can remember and speedbag is the only thing that makes me feel like I'm gonna go super saiyan one day hahahah) ZaZa! Wish I could meet all the members in person and thank them.
