Forum member "JumpCannon" used to make these (Evil Swivel), but he's not been on the board in about 3 years...

It is a great piece of gear.

Deville Swivels are quiet, Evil Swivel is loud. Either is a great choice.

So there's pretty much no chance of getting either one? If anyone comes across either one is love a chance to purchase.

I think you might be out of luck on the Evil...but you can still get a Deville!

My impression is that the Evil was pretty much a copy of the Everlast plastic swivel. I believe that Jump Cannon was a machinist. It was very well made. If you really had your heart set on one, I suppose that you could buy a plastic Everlast, take it to a machine shop and have one made.

OP a summary of the ball hook swivels that you can get:

Deville Swivel - Speedbagshack.com gets them in every now and then, I got mine there back in March 2017.

Forza MMA/Swiveltek - Speedbagshack.com, eBay, Amazon all have them in stock.

Everlast Plastic base, plastic ball - Everlast.com, but you must call to order it as it is not listed on their website. $6.95

Watkins ball hook - I think they are out of stock but supposedly they are making a new one with a shorter hook on it.

And of course buying used swivels from this forum, eBay or Etsy.

I am using a Deville currently and like it. I would use the Watkins but the too long s hook makes it slower. I like the Watkins because I can unscrew the base to clean the ball or replace it, and also screw in the chain link attachment for some high speed boxing style bagging.

I don't think any of them are perfect, but each has it's plus and minuses. For me if I can get the Watkins with a shorter s-hook but still be very wide at the bottom to accept all of my bags then that will probably be the one I will use, but until then I will be banging away on my Deville.

Did you find a swivel already? I have Deville in white from a few years ago. I hardly used it. I bought it to go with a new platform but I ended up using the one that came with the platform. Now I am looking for a fast quiet swivel.

Hi! I am Butch, a new member. I have been reading posts of members looking for the powermill evil swivel. I've been working on something that I think is very similar to it. I have 5 pcs. of "stainless steel housing/base only" (no ball and hook) patterned after the everlast plastic housing and probably the closest you can get to the powermill. These are individually hand turned from a solid shaft of 304 stainless steel. Solidly built weighing almost haft a kilo ea. Perfect for the white plastic ball of everlast or any ball that is 1" in diameter. The price is $35ea. You pay shipping and handling. You can check the photos. Just a heads up, shipping cost might be a quite high than usual because of my location. I am from the Philippines. Again, "stainless steel housing/base only" (no ball and hook).
As of now I only have 5. Please PM me if you're interested.

                              Thank you very much! Butch😊
