Oh it's a ball hook, never saw anything from Voit that wasn't, even after AMF bought them. They had a machined version like the standard Everlast and TufWear ones but towards the end of production AMF Voit offered a stamped metal one as well, listing the other one as the "Pro" model.

It's a little hard to tell, but it looks like the one on the ring is the machined version.

Two swivels and a bag and a ring -- maybe not a bad deal for someone local. Were the machined Voit ball hooks good quality? Did Voit make them or just put their name on them?

The pre AMF ones were very, very similar to the classic Everlast swivel, as well as the Brooklyn TufWear ones. Were they made by the same manufacturer, who knows? It's quite possible that these were all made in the same shop, but there was nothing about them that could really be patented so they could each be the product of different maker. As I recall the bases and swivels were all interchangeable so that it didn't matter which make swivel you had you could use it at just about any gym that used that style swivel.
