I actually made one out of PVC pipe and I mounted inside a tire filled with cement. I also saved a video of a homemade gonka post including instructions how to make one. It looks interesting, I may try too make one:

On my next video, I'll show you my dummy that I built

lookin good...I'm always a fan of seeing a new technique that I haven't tried before. Thats one of the things I love most about the speed bag...it always seems like someone is coming up with new stuff...kudos.

        Thanx for showing that dummy.
At 1st, I wanted to make one immediately.
Then, I saw some homemade Jiu Jutsu/MMA dummies and started planning for that.
I really need to find a log.
I've already got the plans on how to carve one.

        Appreciate the kudos.
Here's a few, more difficult, uppercuts I hit a few days after that 1st video.
I just posted the video today.

Just gotta get a good clip with it in there.
I've been cheating on the speed bag lately with my double end bag.

Nice uppercuts! What size bag is that? Were you seriuos when you said you couldn't do side double punching? I seriously believe you could truly rock some SDP!

                  It's a Tuf-Wear, 9"x6".
I'm definitely not proficient at it.
It's really just a lack of practice at that move.
I'll have to give it a more serious attempt, later today.
                  Thanx for the motivation metaldad.
