Nice stuff BRD. Reverse bumps! Man, can really hear the rain. That doesn't look like one of your swivels.. could just be the lighting and the angle.

Thanks Lance! The swivel is not the SS swivel. I experimented machining a plastic shaft and it turned out just like the plastic everlast with a SS ball and hook. The reverse bump is a product of repeatedly watching TommyT's video on youtube. Regards! Butch

Thanks Cazbag! It's only now that I have time to practice. Getting inspired by watching all the videos other members are posting. The bag is an unbranded bag from China. I got it from a local online shop. Odd-looking and inconsistent in size, this one is 9x11. Inexpensive too, only around 10usd. It is soft and a little heavy but is alright to hit. Good bags are not available here and just like my swivels, shipping it from the US is quite expensive. Butch

            Very nice skills Butch!

I like the move at 22seconds and the reverse of it at 26 seconds!

Butch, do you use CAD or do any CNC machining? When I started designing my Arc swivel, I started by making a CAD model for the Everlast plastic swivel (then I progressively morphed the model into the Arc). I could share the model, if you are interested.

Hi Rusty. Thank you very much for the offer but I also made a CAD of the plastic Everlast. I don't use a CNC machine. The housing is individually made by hand using a lathe machine. I try my best to make each one the same. I think the Powermill swivel was made this way too.
Like you, making swivels is also a hobby for me. My location makes the shipping cost to the US higher than usual. I am not really into selling right now. I will sell if someone ask. Right now, I enjoy practicing and learning from all the videos that are available. Thanks to the forum and everybody.
I guess we both like doing stuff. I like your Arc swivel. I would love to have one under one of my boards in the near future. Also, you did a great job with the platform you made. I myself am trying to make my version of a Narragansett inspired platform based on pictures I see on the net. I will post pictures as I progress. Btw, we love dogs too. We have 8.
Again, thank you and regards! Butch

Ditto on what caz said above. Especially to the two awesome swivel makers among us.

Butch, I've always meant to ask; Do you have a nickname for your swivel? Amongst my swivels I refer to yours as "the beast" I know it sounds a tad corny but I mean that in the best way possible.
