    Help

I bought a DE and was planning on putting it in my basement. The problem is the ceiling is made of dry wood so I can't put it there Is there any was I can make a stand? If so, how, and if not can I buy something to hang it off the wall?

    Dry wood?
Like the wood is dry rotted.
I am going to get a De bag soon as well. I am going to use 2 D style rings one screwed in to the stud of the ceiling and tapcon the over in to the cement floor.

the best thing is to find a stud in the ceiling they are normaly even 16 inchs.

I dont know how your basement looks. If the beams are exposed then it will be easy to find the beams/studs to screw in to

As long as you find a stud and use long enough screws you should be good.
