    What do the experts think?

Got this off e bay for a song. Same bag and swivel ventanakaz had posted about a while back. The swivel looks like it was partly cleaned or something. I am wondering if part of it is a knock off? Any one have thoughts one way or the other?

The swivel definitely looks like two became as one. The base and housing definitely look mismatched, imo. But it may work great. probably depends on how bad the rim of the housing has been beat down.

Looks like it has seen a few punches.

Bladder from the old Spalding bag.

The thing still holds air with a very slow leak.

Is it weeping from the valve, or is there a pinhole in the body of the bladder? If it's the latter a regular bicycle inner tube patch will take care of that. If it's the valve there isn't too much you can do about that. Sometimes putting some vaseline on the inflation needle when you pump it up will help the valve close, but it's not a permanent fix. You will find tho that the butyl bladders will definitely make you work to keep the bag moving compared to the latex bladders.

Leaking at the valve. Guess I'm going with a Title bladder.
