Well I had tons of takes on this and by the time I did something worth showing I was starting to tire a bit! That's my excuse anyway! LOL
was interrupted by alarms - phone, door you name it everything conspired against me today.
the Deville swivel is quite quiet and has a certain kind of sound to it - a pleasing kind of clunkety clinking noise much more pleasing to the ear than the equivalent metal on metal of my all metal ball hook. Very nice and very slippery.
So....I have had a few Title bags here for a week or so courtesy of Alan (thanks again for arranging that for me!) and I have to admit I am having a tough time getting accustomed to them. Out of the two the smaller yellow 8x5 is by far the favourate of the pair - I am finding it much easier to control compared to its sibling probably due to my short arm length. But I have to admit it is not as consistent as I would like it to be.
During use it seems to slow down or speed up seemingly of its own accord and I have found for me at least the air pressure needs to be between 3-4 psi. 4 and above and it's akin to hitting a rock and really difficult to control -- but 3-3.5 and it behaves like a totaly different animal!!
I do find though that I am constantly having to adjust the speed/power of the hit when I sense the bag slowing or speeding up. Not quite sure why this appears to be happening, but compared to the Lonsdale which is silky smooth and really consistent for me it can be a challenge.
I'm hoping as the Deville AND the bag settles in it should eventually get better and easier to use as I certainly don't want to give up on it just yet! But it is lagging behind the Lonsdale for the time being in the favouratism stakes presently.
Another curious phenomenon I have noticed Is that when I try to punchdrum in time to music my technique apparently goes totally to pot and my combinations fail totally! Must be my brain trying to keep pace with the beat tempo etc.....
