title logo

Just wondering, has anyone ever tried to take the plastic title logo off a bag? I have the title 8x5 http://ep.yimg.com/ca/I/titleboxing_2061_50641702 it doesnt look exactly like the picture, the logo is actually a bit lower on mine, and is roughing my hands up a bit. I want to take it off, but at the same time I don't want to ruin the bag....any thoughts?

Hey Jordan. Funny, but I too have thought about logos on bags and if they will get in the way and chafe my knuckles. But, I have never had a problem. the logos (like the one in the picture) are above the curve in the bag, making it real difficult to accidentally hit. I had to read your post again because at first I was like, "Jordan better get an 11x8 or slow down a bit if he keeps missing the meat of the bag and connecting above into the small area.
If the logo on your bag is lower than in the picture, that seems strange, as it would be real close to the punching area. Maybe the logo was stitched on low by accident.
Title is pretty cool. I too just got the 5x8 gold x small bag and it is warped. I informed them of this and they are sending a replacement.
Before you go and try to remove the logo, I'd give them a call and maybe even offer to email a picture (which would have been cool to see as a comparison to Title's pic). They can then address the problem and you don't wind up messing up the bag you have now.
How long have you been baggin'? I ask because I bagged for months on the bigger sizes I was buying at sport stores until I wised up and started ordering online for the smaller ones.

Yeah, actually it is a bit deformed, i think it was put lower on accident, the seams on the bottom dont line up either. I'll have get ahold of title.
I've been baggin basically since I joined the forums, so I guess that was the beginning of June lol....seems like a lot longer. I did the same thing tho, I went and got one of the everlast "starter kits" it did the job to learn on, but once I got better I wanted a real leather bag instead of the vinyl one that comes with it... I tried sporting goods stores, but they all pretty much just carried one, maybe even two size bags. So I looked on the forums and I saw that a lot of people really like the title 8x5. It actually makes a big difference from my old bag, even with the deformity.
