    How To fit a bladder

This was the second time I've have to fit this type of bladder, only this time I made it easy after struggling trying to poke the valve through. I thought I would share my idea with you all. If you already know how to do this, then my apologies.

image #1 shows the type of valve I'm dealing with. It's inserted through a tiny hole in the bag.

#2 Get a piece of string and carefully loop it around the valve twice.

#3+4 Hold one end next to the bladder and feed the other through the tiny hole. (When you looped the string around the valve one of the ends is under the other.....if you know what I mean. This is the end you want to thread through the bag)

#5+6 While holding the end next to the bladder pull through the string, this will pull the valve head through.

#7 Job done! Remove the string of course.

Thanks for the lesson, Vini. I just hope I never have to try it.

That's genius Vini. I've torn my hair out trying to get the blasted #$!&!@ valve through that tiny little hole. I have two bladderless bags out in the garage right now, I guess I should do something about it.

Tim, I know what your saying. When I got my first Everlast bag, I wet the needle and inserted slowly, the valve fell into the bag. I had an absolute nightmare trying to get it back! I got the idea from when we fit windscreens into vehicles, old type seals required being pulled through with string.

Sorry Vin, but that fix is illegal.
