I prefer Everlast Professional bags for several reasons:

    1. The loop is fat and short so it doesn't twist
    2. I can order the bags in the color or color combination that I like.
    3. The leather is soft and they rebound well.

I do have a couple of Title bags and they are good bags, but my only gripe with them is that I don't like the way Title does the loops.

I also have a 5x8 Title Classic bag and although it works, I'm not too crazy about the shape.

      speed bag favorite

My favorite bag died a few years ago. It was an older style teardrop 8x5 bag by Ringside. You can See it well Here, and also
see it here. I have a lot of video with that bag.

I punched the leather off the belly until it's underwear showed through. then it retired.

Basically I prefer a nice teardrop or rounder bag. I dislike the long, thin "banana" shape bags. I think the rounder ones are faster, Have a better reaction and just prefer that style.

        fav

I gotta go with the rival 9x6 because the leather is nice and soft the loop is short and thick and has a nice rebound to it.
I have hit Everlast, tittle, and TKO but preferred the rival over the other bags that i have used/owned.

          title

extra small title bags are way softer and you are able to hit them longer with no gloves...

I have to agree - I tried various Everlast bags - and my favorite are the Professional series
I just (this morning) picked up a 9x6 yellow and black Everlast Professional - man it is sweet!

You'd probably like the Top Contender line for that reason as well. Very soft.

Question: Has anybody tried one of those Kangaroo bags from the Sports Doctor? Anybody seen one? Any thoughts?

I had contacted thesportsdoctor over a year ago and they had no bags on hand. They told me they hadn't had orders in a while. They were going to make a few 8x5's and send them to me. I never heard from them, and never got the bags. I'd love to try them. The owner, Johnny Golomb is the grandson of the man who started Everlast.

I am sure if we can guarantee him a small order they can make a batch... maybe a dozen ? seems small but they may go for it....

I think $50-$60 is my limit... although it is a custom bag - so it would be neat to have.

Actually, I called the number listed on the website and Johnny answered the phone. Very cool guy to talk with.

Anyone interested in picking up the ball (bag) and running with it?
I didn't see a telephone number on the web site....tried calling 411 but they didn't have a number. I'd commit to buying a 9x6 in a heart beat.
