Is this worth my money?

Hi this is my first post. I have never trained on a speed bag before just a heavy bag. I am looking at this http://www.sportsunlimitedinc.com/ev...d-bag-set.html

I want a quality speed bag set up at a cheap price. It is 10*7. Is this worth it or should i go more expensive. Your opinions are much appreciated.

ALSO has anyone ever heard of this company http://www.physicalsuccess.com/Shop-read-211.html
I am looking at DE bags and this looks like a good deal. Thanks.

Most of us started on that exact same set up and most of them still have them. They are decent platforms. With a couple of minor upgrades, it will last you a very long time. For instance, putting an extra piece of 3/4" plywood on the drum and a sand bag on top, it will be a great set that will last a long time.

Also, check out the following site for a lot of great information: http://www.speedbagcentral.com/ Pay particular to the videos as well.

The speed bag unit, even the light weight board, would probably be fine if you use some sand bags on top to stabilize. You might want a higher quality bag, however.

I know the owner of Physical Success. He is a very personal guy and really believes in training with punching bags of all types. I like him a lot and believe he is a very creditable individual.
